Carolina Wedding Fair Recap: A Day of Inspiration, Connection & Celebration

The Carolina Wedding Fair was an incredible celebration of love, creativity, and community. Couples from across Eastern North Carolina gathered for an immersive wedding planning experience filled with inspiration, talented local vendors, and unforgettable moments. From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as brides, grooms, families, and friends explored beautiful displays, connected with professionals, and envisioned the details of their perfect wedding day.

This year’s fair showcased an exceptional group of wedding professionals representing every part of the planning journey. Attendees had the opportunity to meet talented florists, planners, photographers, beauty artists, caterers, venues, and more—all ready to help bring dream weddings to life. The event created a welcoming space where couples could ask questions, gather ideas, and build their very own “dream team” of vendors for their big day.

One of the most memorable highlights of the day was a surprise proposal that left the crowd cheering. Fletcher and Maria attended the fair expecting to browse vendors and gather inspiration for their upcoming engagement—but Fletcher had a bigger plan. Surrounded by wedding inspiration and supportive vendors, he surprised Maria with a heartfelt proposal that instantly became one of the most magical moments of the event.

Beyond the excitement of wedding planning, the Carolina Wedding Fair also focused on giving back to the community. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and vendors, nearly $1,500 was raised during the silent auction, and $535 in cash was presented to Martha’s Mission from CWP and Week's Farm during the event. It was a meaningful reminder that weddings bring people together not only to celebrate love, but also to support and uplift those around us.

We are incredibly grateful to all of the vendors who showcased their talents and to our wonderful venue partner who helped make the event possible. Most importantly, thank you to the couples and families who attended, asked thoughtful questions, and connected with the amazing professionals who make the Eastern North Carolina wedding industry so special.
